Ολυμπιακές αυταπάτες
Οι «Ολυμπιάδες» είναι τεράστιες εμπορικές και ιδεολογικές επιχειρήσεις που εξωραΐζουν το προϊόν τους με τη φτηνή και φυσικά ψεύτικη λάμψη του «αρχαίου πνεύματος» και αποπροσανατολίζουν δισεκατομμύρια ανθρώπους από τα πραγματικά προβλήματα τους, προσφέροντάς τους, ταυτόχρονα, ένα ακίνδυνο υπνωτικό που τα κυρίαρχα Μέσα Ενημέρωσης ονομάζουν «αθλητικό ιδεώδες». Οι ολυμπιακοί αγώνες – όπως και κάθε εμπορευματοποιημένο άθλημα/θέαμα – ενισχύει σε κάποιο βαθμό το φαινόμενο της απόσυρσης ενός κομματιού της κοινωνίας από τα πεδία του πολιτικού αγώνα (από τα κάτω)…
Το Ξυπόλυτο Τάγμα
Το «Ξυπόλητο Τάγμα» είναι η αληθινή ιστορία 160 παιδιών, που η δράση τους πήρε διαστάσεις μύθου όταν διώχτηκαν από τα ορφανοτροφεία της Θεσσαλονίκης από τους Ναζί κατακτητές στα χρόνια της κατοχής του Bʼ Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου.

Qu´on se fait mineurs
Pour la majorité, le mot révolution ne signifie qu’un moment indéfini dans le futur lointain, quand toute la société va s´ exploser et sortir dans les rues et sans pouvoir plus supporter l’injustice elle demandera (et elle revendiquera) le changement du régime. Pour d’autres, le mot révolution est réduit à un processus-fétiche, selon lequel, d´ une manière soudaine et déterministe, presque métaphysique, ¨les conditions vont mûrir¨ et un groupe de révolutionnaires professionnels va occuper les palais hivernaux ou le Parlement, va éliminer les ¨hypocrites¨ et dans quelques mois tout sera en rose. Les ouvriers auront le pouvoir, représentés par un gouvernement central (mais ils seront encore ouvriers, à la fois)…

Das bedeutet nicht, daß wir aufhören sollten, Dinge zu tun. Vielmehr sollten wir eine neue Lebensweise schaffen, der das Spielen zugrundeliegt; sozusagen eine spielerische Revolution. Unter Spielen verstehe ich dabei ebenso Feierlichkeiten, Kreativität, Geselligkeit, Kommensalität und vielleicht sogar Kunst. In der Ära von der Bedeutungslosigkeit der kulturellen Konflikte und der Desinformation seitens der Massenmedien sehen wir es als Notwendigkeit an, unsere Aktionen mit all Jenen zu koordinieren, die den Wunsch nach einer besseren Zukunft haben, weit entfernt von der unersättlichen Bestie des Kapitalismus und den Werten, die er bekundet: Bereicherung, Habsucht, Ausbeutung, politische und ökonomische Ungleichheit. Die Doktrin des Neoliberalismus, die in der Realität das grausamste aller Gesichter darstellt – wird in Echtzeit – desselben kapitalistischen Systems durch die Eliminierung unserer fundamentalen, politischen Rechte, erobert durch das Blut und das Opfer von Millionen Personen, aufgezwungen. Dabei handelt es sich um Rechte die Tag um Tag abgeschafft werden, weil die Regierungen sich mit keinem Widerstand gegen ihren Versuch konfrontiert sehen, ihre reaktionären Entbehrungsmaßnahmen anzuwenden, die letztlich dem einzigen Ziel dienen, die Interessen einer kleinen Oligarchie zu schützen.

Πολλοί ίσως να μην είχαν στο μυαλό τους μέχρι το 2008 πως ο καπιταλισμός τύπου καζίνο, θα είχε μία τόσο θεαματική εξέλιξη προς ένα γενικευμένο αδιέξοδο. Πως οι αντιφάσεις του θα έπαιρναν την μορφή ακροτήτων ακόμα και μέσα στις καπιταλιστικές μητροπόλεις και πως η “κοινωνία των 2/3″ που ονειρεύονταν οι παλιού τύπου καπιταλιστές ή κάποιοι σοσιαλδημοκράτες, θα μεταμορφωνόταν στην κοινωνία του 1/100, σε ένα τεράστιο Κολοσσαίο που ο καθένας περιμένει αρχικά με αγωνία και στο τέλος μοιρολατρικά, την στιγμή που θα βγει στην αρένα για να φαγωθεί ή να μονομαχήσει με κάποιον άλλο. Η πραγματικότητα όμως διαψεύδει όλες αυτές τις ελπίδες, είναι μπροστά στα μάτια μας και είναι τόσο εκτυφλωτικά βίαιη, βάρβαρη και παράλογη που σύντομα, όλοι θα την αντιλαμβάνονται και με τα βλέφαρα κλειστά.
Norway one year after the deadly attacks: victim’s family describe their loss
Bano Rashid, was among the 69 people who shot dead a Labour youth camp on Utøya island by the far-right extremist Anders Behring Breivik (22 July 2011). A few days later she was the first victim to be laid to rest. Her sister Lara, who survived the attack, and her parents, who had brought the family to Norway from Iraq in search of peace, are trying to cope with their loss.
Spain, the coal miners in Valencia
The above video is from Valencia (Spain) and shows a protest that took place on July 14th. In Spain several coal miners continue to fight against the labour reform, and despite heavy police repression got wide public support. The Spaniards united continue to fight for more than a week against the culture of banking, corruption and greed that rules governments worldwide.
Millions take to the streets as Spain unites against austerity
There is no doubt that social tension is on the rise throughout Spain. The government will have a very hard time to legislate as even its traditional allies are turning their backs. In a very significant declaration last Tuesday, the AUME (Unified Association of the Spanish Military) announced that it will support future popular protests, as a response to the reduction of their retributions and rights. Secretary General Mariano Casado, told the Público newspaper that AUME “might even contemplate calling for specific protests” involving all of its current members if the Ministry of Defense does not step back. This would be the first time in Spanish history for the military to organize a demonstration against a Conservative government led by the PP.
